Fake Poll News: Public Says Trump Can't Handle Being President?
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 1/3/2017 | John Merline

allup poll seemed to put a damper on Donald Trump's presidency before he's even sworn in, with fewer than half the public saying he's up to the job of being president.

At least, that's how the results are being reported. But a closer look at the data tells a much different story.

The Gallup results got huge pickup in the press, with most running headlines along the lines of "Most Americans Don't Think Donald Trump Can Handle Being President."

Gallup asked a series of questions to gauge the public's confidence in Trump's ability to handle the economy, prevent major scandals, use military force wisely and other presidential duties.

The results look pretty dismal. Just 46%, for example, are confident that Trump can handle an international crisis, and only 47% are confident that he will use military force wisely. Both were far lower than Trump's two predecessors.

The American People CHOSE Mr. Trump.

It is time to tar, feather, and indict the reporters
for lying, sedition, and treason.

That is rather worrisome. This shows that something like greater than 50% of those polled pay very little attention to the candidates.

How anyone could have been confidant that Obama could handle an international crisis or use the military force wisely is a great mystery. Not only did Obama have no experience going into the presidency, he never learned a thing while president. His foreign policy has left the world in a very dangerous situation. He has only misused the military.

Trump, on the other hand, has already shown that he has a keen grasp of the issues and knows our current precarious position. I expect he will do far more to stabilize the world than even the most wishful thinker could give Obama (undeserved) credit for.

Trump needs to appoint a "FAke News Czar" who will point out all the fake news published by the MSM. He would need to present to the public WHY it is fake news.

Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted Dec. 7-11, 2016, with a random sample of 1,028 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia

A poll of adults. That's why it doesn't match with the recent election results.

"Compare that to Bush. While Republicans were somewhat more confident about Bush than they are about Trump, Democrats expressed far more confidence in Bush's abilities when asked the same questions in January 2001. For example, 64% of Democrats said Bush would prevent major scandals and 59% said Bush would use military force wisely. The lowest score Bush got among Democrats was 48% (on handling an international crisis)."

Conclusion: Democrats hate Trump.

That's not a bad thing. After 8 years of a "Kinder, Gentler" George W. Bush and after nominating one gentleman who was a war hero and nominating another gentleman who was an accomplished businessman and watching them get their clocks cleaned -- I've wondered if we needed a savage fighter who takes no prisoners.

(Trump did not win the popular vote -- but 5th Grade Civics should have taught everyone that's not how anyone ever won the White House. Trump spent 1/2 as much money as Hillary's campaign -- and I can't believe that if Trump had doubled his spending that he would not have received more votes. But what would the point have been? Except to waste money on campaign consultants and media outlets?)

“Ahhh polls. I remember those things.”........

He will do a better job at it than the lazy nappy haired imposter living in the WH for the past 8 years. Trump hasn’t even been sworn in and he is light years ahead of what odumbo has failed to do. Hang on folks, its going to be a ride to remember.

President Trump has an IQ at least 40 points above the African Muslim , Trump has double the work ethic, Trump has integrity, and he loves American citizens. Fact is, there are at least 20 million American citizens who would have made far superior Presidents to Hussein Obama made and he know it.

I have some Drama Queens friends on Facebook who are terrified of Trump and deactivating their pages as they cannot stand the “vitriol” from the republicans (sic) while the world is crumbling around them.....the media has done a good job in brainwashing them....if you express an opinion contrary to theirs you are seen as an idiot who better benefit from their superior intellect and judgement instead of following such a moron and dangerous new President....Go, Trump, go!!!!!!!!!!

Even more amusing - “Obama is the smartest man to ever be elected President.”

Yes, indeed I have read that in various publications. They say it as if it is established fact rather than their own fantasy.
