A Republic, where the people, through equal representation control their government. Laws are made by equal representation. People control government. Rights are inherent possessions of men and government is established to protect those inherent Rights. A Republic is the only way to ensure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
A Democracy, as modern application demands, is mob rule. Where those in the majority make all the laws. Where those in the majority establish the rights and the privileges of those in the minority. In a Democracy, the minority groups only have what they have as long as the majority allows them to have it. A Democracy does not secure Liberty. A Democracy only ensures there will always be masters, and always be slaves. In a Democracy, Rosa Parks is still banished to the back of the bus.
We are not a Democracy. We are a Republic. But if you repeat a lie long enough, people will begin to believe that lie to be true. If Americans knew the difference, the minority groups would be the especially angry at the intentional effort to brainwash the people into believing the Democracy lie; because they will be condemned to an unrecoverable slavery.
THIS is a clear reminder of why Trump can not fix what is wrong in America. This is why we cannot relax and why we must keep pushing… LIBERTY FIRST!

I did used to watch House, but had no idea Hugh was even in a different show now. yawn...
This tells me that the demands of the job of acting has a mental effect on one’s ability to reason. All that memorizing of script and the endless repeating of a scene until the director get it right can cause something resembling Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After months of retakes and faking every emotion under the sun, it takes a toll on their sanity. Their mental health is stressed even more when they become alcoholics, take illegal drugs and get mood enhancers from their doctors for hire. After years of acting, they are ready for the loony tunes.
i only remember Streep in the “DEER HUNTER”....which is probably the silliest, overacted,overrated movie ever made....

I didn’t watch “The Golden Globes” since “Sherlock” was on PBS instead. But in looking at the results this morning I was shocked to see that Casey Affleck won Best Actor for “Manchester By The Sea” over Denzel Washington in “Fences”. Affleck’s performance couldn’t hold a candle to Washington’s.
I have a gut feeling Trump has some sort of plan to shut the mouths of Hollywood left.

Meryl Streep got one thing right, for the wrong reasons.
If you watch 2004’s “The Manchurian Candidate” she IS playing Hillary Clinton, for all intents and purposes. Has the hair, has the attitude, has the scheming, etc.
It was meant to be a Dem hit piece of Bush (Al Franken at the beginning) but in reality, it actually foreshadowed the real Manchurian Candidate Obama.
His lies interwoven with superficially-innocuous platitudes continue to this very day.
