I noticed that as the Golden Globes approached, I didn’t really hear a lot of people actually talking about the wretched stuff that had been nominated. Who cares about Hollywood’s product? But I did see a lot of discussion about the dresses that would be worn. People do seem to still love fashion.
Melania will garner a lot of attention from designers and the public.

Pretend for a second you are an artist. Which palette would you choose to work with?

Someone who is going to completely ROCK any dress you put on her and do it in front of the entire world... What designer would want that?

By the way, Tom Ford is the same Tom Ford who wrote and produced the movie NOCTURNAL ANIMALS. IT won something last night. Sure it is depraved. I will not see it.

The news comes after several world-renowned designers, including Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, publicly declined to design clothing for Mrs. Trump. I note the omission of Chauncey Gardiner's mom, progenitor of the boob belt. I'm sure she's crushed at the lack of acknowledgment. Without Michelle Obama intentionally wanting to look like a dog's breakfast to disrespect the institution, who's going to buy her wacky crap anymore.

Melania looks beautiful in whatever she wears, and she makes the clothes look good too. I look forward to seeing her dress.

Project Runway could make it one of their challenges; to design something for the First Lady.
Of course Melania is less of a challenge than a few other people I could think of...

Dress Mrs Trump in a gunny sack and she’ll still look radiant. Just get the inauguration over with and the whole world will be happy, especially the American jobless(we all hope). MAGA and jobs, jobs and MAGA.

Melania is absolutely gorgeous!! Grace, poise, class and intelligence. And she is a model. She will make any design look spectacular!
No one with any sense would say no to this type of opportunity. Once in a lifetime gig, and lots of future business!

Shafiroff told the New York Post that Zac Posen, B. Michael America, Victor de Souza, and Zang Toi are among the designers who say theyd be willing to dress the First Lady to-be. Hell, I'll dress her for free...../s (somebody had to say it)

I’m sure Mrs. Trump will look very nice. I have fond memories of a cream-colored wool suit that Laura Bush wore one year.
