Ted Cruz just took the Dems' Jeff Sessions hearing hypocrisy and killed it with FIRE
Conservative Review ^ | 01/10/2017 | By: Maria Jeffrey

Posted on 01/10/2017 2:31:38 PM PST by SeekAndFind

During Senator Jeff Sessions’, R-Ala. (C,78%) Attorney General confirmation hearing today in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Tex. (A, 97%) pointed out numerous Democratic hypocrisies that have been manifested in the past few years and during the hearing.

Democrats on the committee, especially Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. (F, 0%) had been grilling Sessions on whether he would uphold abortion laws in the United States if he becomes Attorney General. Senator Patrick Leahy, D, Vt. (F, 6%) interrogated Sessions on LGBT rights, questioning whether Sessions would uphold civil rights laws as Attorney General.

But did the Democrats care when Obama routinely flouted the law?

Ted Cruz wasn’t having it:

CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO...

“When the Obama Justice Department sent millions of dollars of taxpayer money to sanctuary cities defying federal immigration law, the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration refused to enforce federal immigration law…the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration released tens of thousands of illegal aliens including rapists and murderers into the general population, Democrats on this committee were silent.”

Ted Cruz was kicking ass. And he wasn’t done. He pointed out Democratic hypocritical silence on Obama flouting the law and paying a ransom to Iran and for releasing Guantanamo terrorists without congressional approval.

Senator Cruz’s comments were met with acclaim from conservatives on Twitter:

And there goes @tedcruz back on the top of his game...calling out Democrats hypocrisy/lawlessness. Woo-hoo

Ted Cruz is absolutely destroying the democrats on the Senate Floor. Thank God we have him in the senate. #SenateHearings #ConfirmSessions

Preach it, Ted Cruz.

Add in the disgraceful lies his campaign spread about Dr Ben Carson in Iowa and the operation Cruz ran was one of the most disgraceful I’ve seen.

You are simply regurgitating crap that you have heard. You believe it because you've heard it so many times in various echo chambers, and you didn't bother to go to the trouble to find out if it was true or not.

Last year I challenged anyone to find examples of Ted Cruz telling a lie. Without exception, all proffered examples where shot down, and shot down brutally.

Stop repeating false gossip.

Are you still lying about Ted’s voter theft there? You don’t run around telling people a candidate dropped out unless you’re trying to steal his votes. It’s dirty politics and Ted forever stained himself by practicing it. Ted can still rehabilitate himself, but the first step in fixing a problem is admitting that he made many mistakes and acted in a very dirty manner.

Now THIS is why I voted to send Ted Cruz to the U.S. Senate.

Keep doing this, Ted, and you just may win my vote again in 2018.

I did hear THE Donald tell everyone that Senator Cruz's fater was involved in the JFK assassination.

Since the JFK Assassination was planned by the N.Y. Mob, it would make sense that THE Donald would know all about it. /S

TED CRUZ is a fighter in the SENATE. He just isn’t POTUS material.

He is better POTUS material than everyone who has held the office since Reagan, and better than most of them in the hundred years before Reagan.

Not to rehash all of the primary b.s again...however...

Cruz was obviously pissed that they made up a story about him cheating, using call girls, his dad being involved in a presidential assasination, insensitive stuff about his wife’s looks....and a few other things.

Any reasonabke peraon may understand if you spread stories about a man’s dad being a presidential assasination plotter, spread rumors designed to destroy his marriage, and pick on a guy’s wife about her looks...he may hold a grudge...even if in the short term.

When did Donald Trump admit that Cruz’s father wasn’t involved with Lee Harvey Oswald?

I mean, it is obviously easy when you have a candidate/President who can say anything he wants and get away with it. But if that is what you back, it’s kind of hard to put on high moral outrage about other people who might not have been totally honest about something.

i imagine there are more than a few people here who would be slow to endorse someone who had attacked their wife, or their father.

And who knows if Ted Cruz being separated from the whole campaign didn’t actually HELP Trump win those disaffected democrats in Michigan and Wisconsin? Nobody could smear Trump with the “fringe-right” opinions of Ted Cruz now, could they?

Sorry, you aren’t the one who was complaining about Cruz, I’m just adding to your opinion on the matter.

Ted looks like he’s put on a bit of weight, and he’s wearing a much better suit than he used to wear on the campaign trail.

‘If Cruz hadn’t been getting advice from the likes of Glenn Beck, he might have run a better campaign’

The problem was Cruz’ handpicked campaign manager, the dirty-tricks sewer-meister, Jeff Roe. Investigate Roe’s tactics and reputation sometime. They’re eye-opening.

In point of fact, there Washington Fire, his ‘masters’ would be the citizens of Texas, a subset of the American people. And, he acquitted himself well and admirably, today.

I’ve been a Cruz fan for a very long time, and he didn’t hurt his brand, today.

Ted Cruz is the quintessential “counterpuncher”…he is a lawyer… It’s what they do and he is very good

Ted Cruz is not a leader… He could not press in original agenda… Donald Trump can.

And I maintain that lawyers make poor leaders. They’re great at assimilating and dissecting the information at hand and then either defending or making counter arguments… But very very poor on coming up with authentic original ideas.

Ted Cruz spent one day out of about 100 days, going to three rallies.

At the first rally he didn’t mention the name Trump once.

At the second and third rallies he stated he would vote for Trump.

That is neither an endorsement or campaigning for the team.

What is it with you folks? Why can’t you admit to yourselves the sordid way Cruz conducted himself?

Ask yourself this. If Cruz was the man you think he is, why would I try to prevent him from rehabbing himself?

As a Conservative, what would I have to gain?

Because of Tead’s behavior, I do not trust him. I will never cast a vote for him.

Let’s just say that Cruz is able to do a singularly good job in some arenas and some cases, but being elected to president isn’t one of them. No problem.

I’d like to know.

There is an ulterior motive to everything he does. = = = Just revealed in Russian hacks: Ted wants to be Queen of Russia, and then the World. You heard it here, first!

No way!

I want to be Queen of Russia, and then of the World.

Sigh... OK, then I want to be Queen of France.

You shall henceforth address me as 'Your Highness'.

His master is not the American people. There is an ulterior motive to everything he does.”

Cruz kicked azzzz today.

He was awesome.

Cruz knows how to put the Democrats in their place.

Well done Cruz......
