Oh, so THAT’S the reason California’s going broke. Not the feather-bed welfare system. Not the tidal wave of illegal dependents. Not the parasitic bureaucracy of its state government. Not the crushing regulations that drove hundreds of companies, thousands of jobs, and millions in revenue out of the state.

No, it’s those eeeeeeeevil Republicans in Washington repealing obamacare that drove the Golden State to the brink.

Is that the scam? Is California draining the federal coffers by giving beni’s to illegals? CUT THEM OFF!

Everything looks wonderful on OPM (... until it isn’t).

Boo frickin’ hoo. Maybe CA should pare their budget down to using taxpayer money for actual necessities instead of every liberal wet dream that occurs to them, including treating like citizens every illegal that makes it across the border and hiring the likes of Eric Holder to help them spit in the face of our immigration laws.

I wonder if the Hollywood crowd knows they’re the last cows to be milked in California, as everyone else has either left the state, gone broke, or is already a parasite.

Memo to Martin/Charlie Sheen, Merrill Streep, et. al. - get out that checkbook; your own chickens are about to come home to roost.

As a native Californian, I say “Do it!” Don’t wait, don’t hesitate, don’t look back. When the DemocRATs in Sacramento run out of other people’s money the people of the state will be better off. About all we need a bit of help with is removing the illegal colonists from Mexico and closing the border.

“magnet for every parasite” - true that. California has one-third of the nation’s welfare recipients. As a native Californian and life-long Republican I believe it is time to end that.

Not my problem. Perhaps if you cancel the High-Speed Rail to nowhere. . .

The real problem is that anyone who could reasonably look at a budget has left the state. Jerry can’t get federal money to build hid high speed train in the desert. Who would have thought that real people would ask questions about their assumptions for costs and revenue and said, “what are you crazy?” Love it! The real reason for the train was to rebuild the local transportation systems in San Francisco.
Next we have CALPERS. They have given the government pension problems glorious projections of 7% returns for as far back as we can see. Their returns are under 2%. Problem now is that city and county agencies have to contribute more to stay funded and insure that the people on pension continue to get their money.
Jerry wants to create his own NASA with earth satellite to prove that their is global warming. Good luck.
Yep, Jerry has run out of other people's money.

Old Moonbeam probably should have considered this before giving Trump the big middlefinger.

Yet another good and well-deserved reason to eliminate Traitorobamacare! Jan. 20th just keeps getting better and better.

I vote we get our carving knives out and slice this PESTilence off the coastal border of the United States, shove it into the Pacific and place quarantine signs all around the shore......eventually they should change into something different like Darwins wildlife or end up like Easter Island.

GOOD!

Between that and the cuts to "sanctuary cities"...they desperately deserve it.

Actually, it would blow holes in the paper facade they have covering their real budget deficits, contrary to their claims of a surplus.

Seems like an excellent reason to end Obamacare to me.
