>CNN “damage control” is actually the truth.
>They got a claim from the CIA, and they published what the CIA told them

FALSE.
Refuted by Rush Limbaugh here: https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2017/01/11/media-and-intel-agencies-collude-to-smear-trump-with-fake-news-and-fail/
Trump was briefed on the story.
But “the CIA gave this to Trump as an example of the kind of disinformation that is out there. They gave it to him as somewhat of an educational thing, as an example of disinformation. They did have a briefing with him and they showed him this, but they told him its an example of disinformation. They did not tell him that it was real. If he had been told it was real and if Obama had been told it was real, believe me, we would have heard about this long before last night. If anything in this had ever been real. And you must understand that journalists from around....
From 4chan, where the lads are talking Rubio capchas and lewd comparisons between Rubio and Kasich food types/pizza
Did Trump say that today?--anyone know Rush's source on this?

I understand this to be not quite true. According to http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/11/nbc-intel-official-trump-allegations-are-unvetted-disinformation-video/#ixzz4VTSM8eUM, A senior U.S. intelligence official who was involved in the preparation for the meeting tells NBC that the president-elect was not briefed on this so-called two-page addendum of these allegations against him,
but supposedly had it at the ready *in case* he had a question about real vs. fake intelligence. It is awfully convenient spin on it, don’t you think? This way, they can blame BuzzFeed for misinterpreting its intent, rather than take the heat for spreading the false meme to begin with.
