Donald Trump just put to rest the idea he will ever back down (that would be why we voted for him)

Suck on your own compost wapo.
As evidence that no one cares about his tax returns, Trump offered this: I won.
Cracks me up every time I hear this - I can't get enough!

I remember when he first told them to suck it. And he got away with it. I have been supporting him ever since. Remember its not who is the perfect candidate. Its the candidate that has the stomach for the fight. DJT loves a good fight. Screw conventionality.

When asked directly about the Russian hacking of the election, Trump acknowledged it was probably Russia which is further than he has gone before but quickly pivoted to emphasize that Putin wouldn't be doing these sorts of things under a Trump administration. A couple of points:
- Still no explanation or specifics on what Russia actually did to "hack the election."
- Presidents only very rarely level definite, specific charges against other countries or leadership personalities. The only time they do this is when they're ready to go to war, and signaling that war is imminent (as when George Bush 41 called Saddam Hussein out by name and said "this aggression will not stand."
With respect to #2, I should make it clear that intelligent presidents very rarely make specific charges. Feckless morons — like the soon-to-be ex president — have done it, making a joke of himself for all history by doing so.

The entire establishment across the board is making deals and no power to do it.
Trump cutting off CNN is a BIG message.

The “Democrat-With-A-Byline” wrote: As evidence that no one cares about his tax returns, Trump offered this: I won.
Wrong. The question was not framed by the reporter as “no one” caring, but about the American people in general:
Q. You dont think the American public is concerned about it?
TRUMP: No I dont think so. I won, when I became president. No, I dont think they care at all. I dont think they care at all.
He’s right ... if there was a consensus that the American people as a whole were concerned about it, he wouldn’t have been elected.

The press claims that he will be sought after for destruction. They cite Richard Nixon.
Rush speaks of this from time to time. They do not have an ability to adapt to change where Donald Trump will lead the way.
The media is not winning.

RE Tax docs. Trump also refers people to the financials he posted when he filed as a candidate. He said that right after he said he was still being audited.

Can’t wait til he finally does release his tax returns and there will be nothing to report on. Does anyone really think that his returns wouldn’t have been leaked by now if there were anything the least bit incriminating in them?
