If Monica cited everything in footnotes, no worries. But if she “forgot” to do that, she needs to step aside.
I really like Monica. I’d hate to see her be embarrassed here. And yes, liberals have done much worse. But if the story is true, she needs to go.

I noticed she retained quotes within her quotes, which indicates to me she probably cited them in APA format as an indirect source, for example: Kissenger stated that “blah blah” ... (as cited in Johnson, 1982, p. 102) . Not a good way to get a top grade, as they would rather you use the direct source, and not too many of them, but still allowed.
Not everyone uses footnotes. A bibliography is an acceptable method especially for research since research IS
dependent on previous research.
