I don't mind the statistics, as long as the sample is representative of the real population.

What we learned in 2016 is that these polling companies were manipulating the samples to push the narrative that they wanted, one even going so far as to change the sample methodology mid-election because the results no longer matched the narrative.

You should. Statistics has no application in surveys and polls. It is not intended for use in large complex situations. And even with good usage, it provides no answers, but at best, another question.

Trump is treated as Lincoln was, with daily threats of murder and intense hatred. This treatment is for much the same reason. Trump, like Lincoln, saw the terrible dividion in the country and sought ways to heal it. He was not, however, willing to sacrifice the nation itself in the effort. The opposition to his administration led to succession and war. Let us pray leftists lose the heart for murder before they bring on an armageddon.

If you want to know for sure that the poles are wrong just look back at the election. Hillary was +4% but in reality she was -3%.
