Interviews with 1, 000 adult Americans conducted by telephone by ORC International on January 12-15, 2017. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points. This sample includes 500 interviews among landline respondents and 500 interviews among cell phone respondents.
Don't trust a poll of "adults."
Polls of "adults" include illegal aliens, permanent resident aliens, and others who may not have voted.
Polls like this will not match the actual recent election because only citizens presumably voted, but a poll of "adults" can include anyone.

The word "vote" appears nowhere in the poll. This means that they didn't even try to separate out actual voters from the total polled "adult" population.
This poll is worthless as a comparison to sentiments expressed in the November election, if only the opinions of citizens matter.

Don’t trust a poll of “adults.”
And don’t trust statistics. It was not meant for surveys and polling.
