I’m half-expecting the Obama administration to initiate some military confrontation with Russia in Syria during his last days in office, so that Trump can inherit a disastrous mess and take the blame for a predecessor’s recklessness.

Countries don’t have friends - or enemies - they have interests.
President Trump needs to focus on areas where we can work with Russia to make the world safer for the West and for decent people. We can bomb ISIS and Al Qaeda back into the stone age, where they want to live, to end the Syrian civil war. Whether or not you like Assad, and I don’t, he’s FAR better than perpetual civil war or ISIS, or Al Qaeda.
We can cooperate in other areas too, and we should look for common interests where we can cooperate. It is in President Putin’s interest to find common cause with President Trump, rather than doing anything provocative like grabbing more land in Europe. The “international order” that Biden worries about can be defined to emphasize our interests rather than some abstract globalist agenda.

The biggest threat to the international order is, and has been for the last 14 centuries, Islam.
After Islam is it cultural Marxism (McGovernites don’t seem to have an issue with actual Marxists either) ... or the cold dead hands of the old Soviet Union still polluting the world till this very day through political correctness, the championing all sorts of faggotry and disintegration of moral, or even natural, norms.
But Biden is a Democrat,a DNC brand Demoocrat, and to the sort the international order seems to be whatever is against Christ and righteousness (being “secular”), whatever is against free economies and moral uprightness.
