Bingo.
The disappearance of the rag trade in NYC - located near Times Square - is still one of the saddest effects of globalization.
It wasn’t globalization. It was UNIDA taking a payout to screw their members.
I would bet that many of Hillary’s big donors are thinking about payback.
The benefits to members of public employee unions seems to be different than the benefits to the members of private sector unions.
The unionized garment worker wants to work and wants his neighbors to work.
The unionized social worker does not want to do real work and help his caseload. But just as the social worker does not want to do real work, the social worker does not want the people on his caseload to work either.
And don’t let me get into how that works with teachers in the teachers unions.
Recreational marijuana might help.
I’d say Dems’ ‘dazed and confused’ days lasted about 6 weeks.
What we are seeing now is their ‘angry retaliation phase’, after throwing tantrums after tantrums first, of course.
The death of the Democrat Party is simply a tale of “Frankenstein”: The old guard Democrats ( the overwhelming majority of whom are rich, prejudiced, mean people) created a MONSTER that is now rising up to destroy its maker.
The constant brainwashing of younger generations via television/SocialMedia has bred an army of angry, violent true-believers that will be responsible for making the Democrat Party as we know it a thing of the past......
The delicious irony in all this is that the incredibly rich, out of touch people that created the monster honestly DO NOT BELIEVE the bullzhit they are peddling, they simply USED the rhetoric to obtain and maintain power and NOW that the American people have had enough of the rhetoric and bullying, they can’t escape....
They have become a Marxist religious cult and nobody wants to join it anymore.
“Do you think that a possible run by Thiel may have any sort of chance to at least turn the rudder? Something there has to break and it will. The question is how long?”
I keep hoping that Brown & Co. will finally drive the state into financial ruin to the point where people will reject him and the RATs. But the economy here is just strong enough to keep the RATs afloat. The real financial strength here in the SF Bay area with Silicon Valley never ceases to amaze me. San Francisco is a boom town as a consequence of the SV. The high-rise construction is making the city look like Manhattan. Studio apartments are going for $4,000 a month at the bottom end of the market.
I’m pretty sure the Demonrats were dazed and confused before this, now they’re just slack jawed.
Might I suggest:
Radical
Academic
Communist
Elite
Bigoted
Alinski
Incestuous
Trotsky
(RACEBAIT) Party?
You are right... Please see post 52.
I laugh at these LIB lunatics. That they are ground to dust and dispersed would be a Righteous end to these malignancies on civil society.
Unless their platform of destruction is set back 100 yrs or better, they have still pushed our country, and the ‘public conscience’, from a Republic to Democracy.
It helps not that those elected to ‘fight’ haven’t a clue on how to posit or debate. Hell, just look at some here on FR, postulating on how to ‘fix’ h’care that involves GOVT, or SS (”Don’t touch what *I* ‘paid’”), etc.
Damn near impossible to reverse a century of indoctrination and dumbing down of the populace.
Let's hope Trump does all he can to place the proper chinks in the chain--policy, laws, courts, media, schools. He'll do what he can as will we. But we still have many spineless GOP lawmakers and themselves prescribing as well as intimidated by the new Nazi party.
Pray that this article is right and it really is that simple.
Ha! Ain’t that the truth.
Amen
Sadly I live in the commie republic of California. I have a sense this is where the first REAL war will take place.
