Looks like getting us out of the driver’s seat is the first step toward getting us out of our cars.


Done right, and we need to push for it, it is exactly the opposite.

The car is driving, not you, so no drivers license needed. No license, no tracking. GPS is passive, no need for the car to broadcast its location.

It could make movement anonymous again. Turn off your cell phone and put it in a faraday cage.

If you carry a cell phone, you are already tracked everywhere you go, and your track is permanently recorded.

Your mike can be turned on any time to listen in.

Oh, I’ll just bet that the requirement for every vehicle, if not every person, to squawk IFF will be instituted very soon.
