It makes for a good rantity vanity. In that the last sentence contradicts the headline.
I know what you mean, but this is likely in response to the political stooges out there who wail in protest “How could Donald Trump ever be elected? How could that happen to us?”
This time for us is a further opportunity for our side to point out the clear difference between liberals and conservatives.
I know almost all conservatives had the same question when Obama was elected...”How could Obama happen? How could this happen to us?”
But I would reword this to make the difference crystal clear:
“How could a man who has never held a real job, had no executive experience, has hidden his past, has fanned the flames of racism and destroyed race relations, supports breaking the laws of the nation by instructing the Justice Department to ignore the law, is associated with known terrorists like Bill Ayers, was married by a known racist in the person of ‘Reverend’ Wright, said he plans to destroy American jobs (coal industry), said he was going to side with muslims and demonstrated that in every single case that he intended to follow through with that, has expressed his desire to destroy our sovereignty and done so every chance he got, has demonstrated his overall contempt even as a young man for America...how could a man like this be elected to the Presidency of The United States? How could this happen to our great nation?”
And, here is what liberals say (well, what they WON’T say):
“How could a man who has worked in the business world his entire adult life, has extensive executive experience, has a public, well known and transparent past, has demonstrated in word and deed that he is color and gender blind, thinks known terrorists like Bill Ayers are a cancer on the country, doesn’t consort with known racists, said he plans to create American jobs, does not believe that allowing unchecked immigration of any type specifically people who claim to hate us and desire our destruction (muslims) is healthy, has expressed his desire to preserve and strengthen our sovereignty and will do so every chance he gets by renegotiating treaties that are patently unfair or unhealthy...how could a man like this be elected to the Presidency of The United States? How could this happen to our racist, sexist, homophobic and islamophobic nation?”
