Liberals believe in breaking the law when it suits them. They can’t pick and choose which laws they will enforce.

Yeah they can. They've been doing it for generations.

Maybe some kind of red line or such would make a bigger impression.

“The Washington law is a prosecutors nightmare that requires the state to disprove so many negatives as to make it unenforceable. Some prosecutors have publicly announced that they won’t prosecute under the new law. Any honest appellate judge would declare it unconstitutionally void for vagueness and being overly broad.”

Therefore the need for UNIVERSAL GUN REGISTRATION.

It was built into the measure to be followed up by the only reasonable fix for the failing law.

There is no way to enforce this on private sales that they know nothing about.
Unless they have a registry, they don’t know who has what guns.

This is what happens when you pass a law and the public simply ignores it.

It doesn’t stop them from trying, mighty so.

All they usually need is one corrupt federal judge.

It irks me that, having filled out the background check form, I have to keep filling them out for each purchase. Seems like a valid carry permit and the original form should suffice...

Here in Ga. my CCW is all I need to buy. Just got a 357 revolver. No NICS.

For me, it’s 100%, or at least it would be if I weren’t such a flaming libtard who thinks that guns are just too mean to be in our world... ;)

As a Washingtonian, 99% of Police departments refuse to uphold that law, simply because they lack the man power and the costs to enforce said law. Gotta remember, Washington is mostly a red state with the exception of a few counties along I-5. The majority of the state is almost as rural as Wyoming. My Sheriff said he would not enforce it even if he witnessed it, because it goes against federal and state constitution.

So that debunked Harvard study...yeah, it was wrong but in the other direction. Anyone who believes ONLY 40% of private sales are done without a background check needs to get out more. 90%. Easy.

What is this selling of guns you speak of?

Interesting that a Federal agency should sound off on a state law.

I honestly don’t know, is this usual?
