Criminal invaders.
Did a project down in San Antonio a few years back, stayed in a motel south of the city. The exit from the parking lot went onto a southbound one-way street.
I was leaving the motel one evening to meet up with some coworkers. As I prepared to exit, the desk clerk warned me "Be very careful when pulling out onto the street." I asked him why, but all he said was "the cars can be fast."
One of the other guests came up to me and said, "he can't tell you, but I will; it's the illegals. They think if they drive around at night, drunk as a skunk, with their lights out the cops can't spot 'em. They cause more accidents that way, and when they do, they just ditch their cars and run away."
Sure enough, as I looked up the one way road, I spotted on coming my way - lights off, sailing down the road. I let him pass before pulling out.
