Yes we know. Here is the thing, though. You don’t defend policy or EO by saying “that guy did it too, and even more”. I don’t think it needs defending anyway. It’s clear what the EO was about, and to hell with the shrieker monkeys on the left will always lash out with the cheerleaders in the media providing their cover.

We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it.
