You know what pisses me off is that they know english, but they just want to show off.
Actually, I hung out with some Canadians who did not speak English. They were the grounds crew at a camp ground we were staying in so blue collar... low paying jobs, live off the land, a moose and a bear pretty much every winter.
Quebec is French speaking, just as France is French speaking. Not everyone in the world speaks English although English has spread widely in the last twenty years through Commerce.
