But these people did not have a problem being given a handout from the taxpayers (if my memory serves me properly)some years back. Something to at least consider when reading this fellow’s opinion about this situation.
Your memory doesn’t serve. GM and Chrysler (twice) have gotten bailouts, but not Ford.
Ford did not take a “hand out” (IE: the auto bailout). Chevrolet did. That’s why when I bought a new vehicle in 2010, I replaced my GMC Canyon 4x4 with an F150 FX4. Also why my wife bought a Ford Expedition rather than a Chevy.
Ford didn’t participate in the hand out IIRC.
