New Valve in Santa Rosa (All Mexican Crew)
Press Democrat ^ | 1 Feb 2017

Not that this is an important article, but the video of the men installing the valve are all Mexican and all work is done in Mexican (I hesitate to say Spanish as I speak Spanish). Why in my country is a city/county job not done in the language of the host nation?

Victor Davis’ Hanson story from Fresno:

ALL the bronze historical plaques from local points of interest were forcibly pried off and SOLD for scrap.

At the time the plaques were installed, it never occured to anyone they’d need to keep master records of the priceless history recorded on them —who would steal these lovely city features.

But there’s a recently arrived crowd that not only feels no attachment to the region’s storied past, but increasingly feels an interest in OBLITERATING it.

VDH now rides his bike around these locations —WHO KNOWS what happened there, now..?

Thanks, MeHico.

70 seconds of video, not a SINGLE word of English.

Clearly that’s a city contract for over $50,000:

Can I go down to MeHico and win such contracts..?

I’m sure all those workers are great guys, but that’s not the point.

We and esp our government is actively creating a seperate ethnic MicroState inside our country.

How did that work out for Kosovo..?

This will prove to be the most expensive Cheap Labor the world will have heard of.

Happens all over the country, to the point sometimes to get hired to work on a job speaking Spanish is required. Companies say it would be a safety issue if not everyone understood the language which would make sense...except they mean Spanish not English!!

In border areas of the U.S. it can be very hard to get many jobs without speaking Spanish, but in many cases it is not required to speak English.

My daughter was once fired for not being able to speak Spanish and she is a nurse! The long term care center where she worked was bought by a new company and they didn’t want anyone that didn’t speak Spanish working there. They put it in writing that for the dignity of their patients they required Spanish.

This is why so many of us have wanted a law passed making English the official language. We get called racist if we bring it to anyone’s attention. If you try to complain about Spanish speaking requirement the answer is the U.S. has no official language.

I give credit where it’s due. IMPRESSIVE WORK! While I know Working Class men could also do it, I do wonder if there’s enough left in California capable of it. Every guy I see there now is a Snowflake.

And the sad thing is that some of the black and white Anglos are not worth hiring compared to the green card guys.

The resident aliens show up for work every day, they pass the drug test, they don’t fake an injury, they don’t raise nit-picking issues when getting the job done, and they allow for poorly organized management because they will get by with whatever materials or tools they are given.

Its a damn shame.

I saw the choices traveling sub-contractors had on building up trade crews and saw these issues first hand for years. I came down hard if they used any illegals, called ICE, MPs, Justice Dept. etc.

It's a damn shame.

That it is indeed. A relative recent problem too. By recent I mean 2 to 3 decades now.

Now, I will admit, electricians, low-voltage, fitters, plumbers, and certain other highly trained trades are still predominantly anglo or non-hispanic. The masons, the carpenters, the finishers and the operators are all going the way that the painters, landscapers, floor layers and the other finish trades went.

Iron Workers for structural are still non-hispanic, but the rod busters are not in nearly as many areas.

Hard work in weather variable and impacted conditions with dangerous conditions has always had a draw to immigrants due to the high pay relative to other jobs. That being said, the immigrants are augmented because they work legally in commercial construction while the illegals do a lot of residential work to learn the trade and some of the language.
