Not to minimize the situation but being a SEAL is a dangerous job and they signed up for it. It truly sucks that one of them died but they get paid to get into gun fights and risk their lives and they are well trained and equipped to do it. That only one of them died is a testament to that.

Soldiers die in battle and leaders have the grim task of sending them into those battles knowing that not all of them will make it back. Thus it has always been and thus it will always be.

I just hope that they got what they were after.

Reportedly killed 14 in the terrorist compound and captured treasure-trove of Intel. Don't kmow if that was purpose of the mission.
