“Legal immigrants who are not a burden on the taxpayers have nothing to worry about.”
I sure hope you’re right. My BIL was born and raised in Turkey. Came here to study mechanical engineering and fell for my Sister. Great husband, father, and a great American citizen! He built a company that makes specialized diamond tooling for the Aerospace industry. He also opened a plant with his brothers in Turkey, and travels there frequently. I’d hate to see him hassled on his trips. He loves the US and the freedom here!
Sounds like he is a maker, not a taker. Why worry?
If he already has been naturalized and has citizenship he has nothing to worry about.
Has he chosen not to become a naturalized American citizen? Have him start the process now.
My BIL’s wife is Turkish, as is their daughter. They both have dual citizenship so they should be okay...
