BUFFALO, N.Y. – A Buffalo mother who withdrew her children from public schools to homeschool them now faces child neglect charges, and her children have been removed from her custody.
Single mother Kiarre Harris filed all of the required paperwork with Buffalo City Hall to remove her children from Buffalo Public Schools in early December over concerns about the school system. She also filed the individualized educational program to homeschool her elementary school kids, which she did for several weeks, WKBW reports.
“I felt like the system was failing my children and that’s when I made the decision to homeschool,” Harris WKBW.

Yes it is insane. But remember this is in Buffalo, NY which while technically in the U.S., just barely though as Canada is just across the Niagara river, it has been run by democrats since the war of 1812! So, there you go.
I certainly hope she gets her kids back and beats this trumped up rap. If she hasn't already left the Democrat plantation for blacks I certainly hope she is rethinking her support for them. I even wonder if the truth isn't that she voted for Trump, and is now facing retribution. I certainly would not put it past Democrats to go there. They are a vindictive bunch without question.

I was about to say I am glad we live in Michigan, where we don’t have to file ridiculous papers like that. But then I realized with the current political climate, we should all have our ducks in a row regardless. Obviously some of these rabid people coming out against Betsy DeVos just think everyone’s children should be forced at gunpoint to attend the government indoctrination centers.
I was homeschooled and could tell you things that would make your hair stand up.
But I still get upset myself, so I’ll just say, they’re trying to make an example of this woman. NY is not the worst among homeschool-unfriendly states. And...using CPS against homeschoolers is like police shooting people’s dogs; because they can, not because they must.
Enraged at this city for doing this to this woman and her kids.
In hindsight, instead of un-enrolling the children from their school she should have told they they were being transferred to another school.
The loss of an enrollment brings much more scrutiny than does a transfer.
Get a lawyer. A good one. And the NAACP to really annoy them. Scary that this can happen.
