The Marco Rubio knockdown of Elizabeth Warren no liberal media outlet will cover
CR ^ | 2/8/17 | Chris Pandolfo

In a speech you didn’t hear because it doesn’t make for good TV or push a liberal narrative, Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fla. (C, 74%) warned that tolerating Warren’s brand of slanderous rhetoric on the floor of the U.S. Senate undermines the institution and weakens our republic.

“I want people to think about our politics here today in America,” Rubio exhorted his colleagues. “Because I’m telling you guys, I don’t know of a single nation in the history of the world that’s been able to solve its problems when half the people in the country absolutely hate the other half of people in that country.”

“This is not a partisan issue, it really is not” Rubio said. “Turn on the news and watch these parliaments around the world where people throw chairs at each other, and punches. And ask yourself ‘how does that make you feel about those countries?’ Doesn’t give you a lot of confidence about those countries.”

He went on to say that the US may become a place where reasonable disagreement was dead and if they (the Senate) couldn’t debate in a dignified manner, where else could it be done.

Rubio is a little worm. Don’t let this anchor baby usurping little POS fool you for one minute.

Agreed...Is shaming a tactic that can work when the media doesn’t even report it though

I agree with the author - First Termer Rubio provided a strong defense of the principle behind the Senate rule, and pointed out that it’s the Senate’s decorum that makes it a place where even the most strongly held differences can be discussed. He made Fauxcahantas, Amy Schumer’s relative, some crack picker from Rhode Island who tried to buttonhole the Chair with BS, and 40 years in the Senate Leahy look like the cretins that they are.

You’re right.

Dems are the ones hating; look at Berkeley & other dem strongholds.

We didn’t see the Repub suburbs and countryside burn when 0 did something we didn’t agree with.

“half the people”

But what if one half is well armed and the other isn’t?

Contrast the UK, where maybe a few folks out in the country have a shotgun.

I will give him a mild clap for this. However, we don’t need republicans to compromise and go across the aisle to help democrats survive and recover. In fact, this country would survive just fine without the democrat party. Let them destroy themselves.

Yup. Fool you once or whatever. I never trust RINOs even at the moment they show some sanity and clarity.
