Authorities in North Dakota said Monday that cleanup crews at the site of the Dakota Access oil pipeline protest were scouring the mountains of trash to find anyone that might’ve died during the demonstrations.
Morton County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jay Gruebele told KFYR-TV that authorities were searching for “anything illegal, anything that might be used to, I guess, harm our officers during a protest.”
“As bad as it sounds, we're looking for people that may have died and could be wrapped up in a canvas or a tarp or tent," Gruebele added.
Sanitation workers were seen cleaning up the mountains of debris that piled up over the six month period. They are hoping to get the mess cleared by spring. According to the station, at least 250 trucks will be needed to clear the space. All the garbage that was left behind was frozen into chunks.

I can’t remember who was in charge of the DOJ, Interior, EPA, or D of Ag then. Maybe they could be made to pay for the clean up.
What, did one of their informants go missing?
Current DC based, upper level EPA employees should be shipped out there to get the clean up work done there.

I do not understand the Left, other than that they are liars and power hungry manipulators of the public.
This makes the Occupy rubbish heap sound like a catered picnic in a manicured park.
There was an article posted here not too long ago about a protester who had body parts blown off while trying to throw some explosive at the cops. Wonder if they found them all..

Lefty activism. Saw it firsthand at the first Gathering of Eagles in Washington DC when we showed up in force to keep them from vandalizing the Vietnam memorial. Their side of the orange barrier fence was a sea of trash. Ours was neat as a pin and where the cans overflowed, we put our refuse next to them so as not to be a big problem for whoever had to clean it all up.
They talk a good game about caring about people with menial jobs, such as those who have to clean up after them.
We show it.
It’s not just the Left. You should see parts of the west end beach in Galveston after families of Mexicans leave on Sunday afternoon. They wouldn’t dream of taking any trash with them. Suspect lot of their trailer park areas look a lot worse.
Just incredible that these usually-unemployed, almost always ill-informed radical would-be hippies get the kind of press they do. If the media didn’t bring its cameras to every piddling “demonstration,” there would be no demonstrating.
When they talk of all the tents and sleeping bags and stuff - that just proves this protest was organized and paid for by a group with money (Soros?). I’m guessing even some upper-middle class college kid with white guilt would bring his sleeping bag back to college.

Remember, these are people 95% of which live with their mom, and never have had to take any responsibility for anything in their lives.
Mom cleans up after them at home. Why would they think it would be different anywhere else?
If you get down to it, SOME of the minority folks also have the government to clean up after them all the time, figuratively by paying their bills.

Such a typical liberal attitude...thoroughly foul your nest and then expect someone else, viz., the government, to do the cleanup. You see it in every ghetto where everybody is in Section 8 housing, on welfare, and on food stamps. “You want ME to clean this up? Hell no! The government will do that. Why should I lift a finger?”
Give the folks with seniority priority for this task.
Those that have been with the EPA more than 3 weeks should have enough experience.
How many of these people protesting surrendered their lands to Conservation Easement? The pipeline in and itself assures conservation practice in its path.
They have no properties, so they attack people with properties for bad stewardtship. When said people with properties surrender their lands to conservation easement (something leftists would never do), they call such people animal murderers using the land to hunt. Why? Because the left loses its Opinion Making legitimacy once some people truly sacrifice and protect Conservation lands, because the owner has to make sure the land is clean for authorities. Thus the left is unmasked for its hypocrisy of never wishing any conservation but just bossing people and gain power.
