Go ahead, take it out on me. I don’t care, I’m so disgusted right now, doesn’t matter.... Yes, it’s my fault, throw all your hate at me...

Our country is on a suicide downhill trajectory right now, the courts just told us they can over rule even the most plain english laws on the books, entitled exclusively to the POTUS.

Yes, tell me what a jack ass I am...

“Trump should tell the terrorists “Hey terrorists, GO TO WASHINGTON STATE!!!” then watch their tourism industry TANK.

Perhaps (if it’s feasible) direct *all* refugees / immigrants from the seven countries to the states in the 9th district. And in particular, make sure a goodly number of them are placed in the neighborhoods those judges live in. Public house them in f’n trailers if we have to - sick and tired of these asshats making rulings that make things messy for everybody else while they sit back in their privileged outposts.

It sounds like the court has given itself executive authority: they disagree with the executive's decision to invoke the law at this time and in this way; the law itself is not in dispute.

Similarly, applying the same logic, the court could intervene to prevent Congress from declaring war, or the president from authorizing a limited military action, if the Court did not approve of the rationale for either. This is judicial tyranny.

What Donald should do is drop or rescind, whichever he has to do, this Executive Order. This will remove the influence of the Courts. Get his Supreme Court nominee confirmed and sworn in. Then issue a new Executive Order. It is called getting your ducks in a row. Now, he doesn’t need the Executive Order. His Attorney General can enforce law violations, including Immigration Law violations.

The Trump team could have had all their t’s crossed and i’s dotted and the left coast 9th circuit still would have come up some baloney to put the stay on. It's really that bad. When is the last time you saw a liberal SCOTUS judge flip and side with a conservative position? Same with the 9th circuit. It is what it is.

Not a half bad plan...combined with using the cudgel of federal money - stopping it from being spent for certain purposes (such as refugee resettlement).

President Trump: Ignore this illegal and unlawful court order and FOLLOW the law. Go on television and explain WHY this is illegal and unlawful. The LEFT cannot push their agenda through legislation so they are CHEATING the system.

Even good decisions can be ill timed and executed. He should never have done this without Sessions in place and more political planning. The choice now is to fight in court and likely lose multiple times (but be on the right side of the argument) or back up and punt in some way.

Trump should not rescind the order, but rather slow walk this case to the Supreme Court once Gorsuch is there. Trump is risking permanently weakening Presidential plenary powers if he goes forward quickly now because he will likely lose.

He is effectively trapped now, there really are no good options except wait it out for a more favorable USSC. The upside is I would prefer they use the nuclear option now for Gorsuch so we can use it again later, and this case in the mix with the USSC might force some dems to vote against him, withholding 60.

Trump can go with the ban on a slow track review in court, and set up extreme vetting system for the undocumented from the 7 banned countries. This can be done at every port of entry. The laws for deporting those who do not pass extreme vetting are already in place .

I do not believe that President Trump will wait for any court decision

His Tweet is likely a feint.

You can up the time to vet all you want. Garbage information is still garbage information.

Does this mean any president must now be given permission by the judiciary to make determinations about immigration.

Trump should play their own game. Since Robarts has asserted blanket jurisdiction over immigration issues, petition him for each and every visa application, send him the full immigration file and ask him to make a determination on each one.

After tens of thousands of individual files, perhaps the judges will get a clue.
