There’s an old adage that says, ‘If you’re going to shoot at the King, you’d better not miss.’

I’ve been a serious reader, mostly nonfiction, all my life, but I never saw this adage before. I like it, and thanks for passing it along. In fact, if you don’t mind I think I’ll use for my tag line.

I just searched on the phrase and discovered that it's a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson. Fancy that!
