Fourteen retired Anglican bishops are criticizing the Church of Englands attitude to homosexuality, saying the church is not listening to the voices of gay Christians.
They are responding to a report from the churchs House of Bishops, which calls for a fresh tone and culture of welcome and support for gays and lesbians, but says the church should not lift its opposition to same-sex marriage.
In an open letter , the ex-bishops say that while the pain of LGBT people is spoken about in your report, we do not hear its authentic voice.

Starting from a wrong premise, indeed!
Church of England ignores pedophiles, necrophiliacs, zoophiles, etc. I can go on and on.
What makes homosexuals so special?
Ignoring and promoting sre two different things.
My first thought too, you can’t claim to be a Christian and a proud queer at the same time.
They are specifically mentioned in the bible. But that's an entirely different kind of special.
Judging by Romans 1:18-32 what makes homosexuals so special is that they’re the proverbial canary in a coal mine. Once they, despite all demographics, are able to run riot with the approval of many who don’t trade in their perversions it is a clear sign that the society has turned it’s back on God, has not retained knowledge of Him.
This process doesn’t start with the poofters suddenly becoming a force in society and those being condemned don’t stop with supporting them (or being them) but with them they go on to other badness.
We are told that a little leaven leavens the whole lump and in the same way a little compromise with the world can lead people places they may have never imagined possible, and maybe even been horrified by if it were to come on the suddenly rather than gradually.
It would seem that in the minds of some, though, not-promoting is considered ignoring.
Confronting sin is, naturally, “right out” to those who think only coddling and accepting is the only acceptable response to their “lifestyle”.
No they don’t.
After all, they can become clergy.
Or they ARE clergy.
As opposed to throwing them a party and having a Gays Night Out like the other places do?
Fourteen retired Anglican bishops, eh? Are there that many practicing Anglicans left in all of England???
Rom 16:17-19
17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. 19 Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

Exactly.
“because of this...God gave them over”
A technocracy always worships its created things - and this “culture” is no different.
