Ok, maybe I misremember South African history but i think the only indigenous people there were the hottentots. Blacks were still further north and didn’t move down until whites had established themselves.

Zulu’s, Bantus, et al: Negroids.
Hottentots, Bushmen: Capoids.
Dutch, French and British settlers: Caucasiods.
Totally different races.

The original whites settled on uninhabited land; while they were there many blacks migrated down the east coast of Africa into their land. The apartheid system was presumably an attempt to integrate them into some sort of structure that wouldn’t endanger the white settlers while preserving their investment in the land.
No...the Bushmen, a wandering tribe, who never did “own” nor settle on any land, and the Zulus were there, when the Boers got there. That was it, nobody else and the vast majority of blacks, in RSA now, were either brought in as slave, BY THE ZULUS, or snuck in.
