1600 mg sounds like a lot to me, the most I’ve ever done was 800. It’s something of a stimulant so start out low and dose to tolerance, if you start having sleep disruption drop back. You should always take it in the morning with food anyway.
My own experience with CBD (derived from hemp) is that it provided little or no antidepressant effect (over a few months), so I went back on Effexor. But it was great as an anti-spasmodic and as some sort of “deep relaxant” ( not exactly like sedatives, hypnotics, or anti-anxiety drugs, though - hard to describe).
800 once a day helped for a while then went to 800 b.i.d. (common dosage in Germany). Never did have any stimulant effect on me.
I’ll stick with Chivas Regal.
The stimulant effect is there, your system is apparently just more tolerant of it. It’s something to watch out for if you have any problems with anxiety. Stimulants are bad for that, so you don’t want to go too far if it’s an issue for you.
I’ve seldom stayed on SAM-e for any lengthy period, the longest was a year. The shortest has been to the end of a bottle or package of it and then didn’t feel the need to take any more once I was done.
I tried using just the CBD oil hoping it would do the trick. It didn’t but using the whole flower does. It’s like anything else what works for some doesn’t work for other.
Hope your current regime is working for you.
Because we’re all Looney Tunes.
Ultram is a receptor selective agonist (will bind with some receptors and not others) the marketing was that is blocked pain but did not cause euphoria therefore it was not addictive.
They were wrong.
I never prescribed it much, I’m old enough to have been trained that unless it is a terminal condition, don’t prescribe any narcotic for more than 3-5 days. Back when I was practicing, I got a lot of bad reviews for that. But on the up side, I didn’t create many addicts.
Hey, if you’re prescribed those drugs, your second amendment is Null and Void.
Just say’.
