Even though the local media kept touting (and giving free advertising to) the ONE Mexican grocery store that was closing, the #daywithoutanimmigrant was a total bust locally.

I stopped in D.C. yesterday for lunch (currently driving down to Florida) and noticed absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with regard to restaurants being open - even though apparently this was to have been the epicenter of the protest in which restaurants were to close and throw Washington into chaos.

The illegal alien strike closed one daycare, making news because it so frustrated parents.
You don’t tell people the night before we’re going to close the facility ... or charge them for the day you suddenly closed while sticking them with extra backup childcare costs.
