Not sure why you appear to think embracing the historic epic of the French would hurt Miss Le Pen. What she needs is a great rallying of the French people, determined to regain control of their own destiny. Roland is to historic France what William Wallace is the Highland Scots--or St. Patrick is to the Irish. By contrast the French Revolution morphed into a pursuit of egalitarian fantasy--the mother of the present malaise in the West.
