It is because immature people love the “Same”. It is the herd instinct which everyone has and true diversity, unlike what our evil culture now tells children, is not Black/White but is really Male and Female. The Male and Female are as diverse and different as you can get. It is EASY to like people who are like yourself. It is HARD to like TRUE diversity-—and it CAN”T be done without Maturity in the male or female (which is God’s Design). Abuse traumatizes the child and if in a critical psycho-sexual stage, it can warp a child’s “desires” for life—and literally make them into a lesbian or homosexual. Not that it can’t be cured. It can and has—but the only successful way is to find God and to forgive and deal with the embedded powerful emotions during the trauma.
When any child is traumatized (Chasity Bono raped as girl by Lesbian), they will be warped by the experience. They never learn how to connect and grow to be a mature person unless they learn to overcome the event and learn to move on. All addictions and unnatural behaviors can be traced to childhood trauma/experiences. All behaviors are learned and habituated.
Milo was fixated in a puerile, immature state, and has ejected maturity (true love/the Other) and is not capable of giving up that closeness to a “male” because he lacked connection to a mature loving adult male in childhood which devastes little boys who all need a loving role model. They need the attention for their self-esteem and for a role model to maturity, and so they will (in immaturity) connect to any male that offers attention, even if it is filthy acts which uses the boy in dehumanizing, evil manner. The emotions the “love” creates is the strongest emotion in the human male. It is HARD to overcome sexual emotions embedded into the subconscious which is always by child abuse and neglect.
It is why Christians knew that innocence is essential for normal sexual identity formation (no sex ed in group settings even after age 12 for mystery/dignity/privacy is essential for the “act” to be “moral”. True love (selflessness/maturity) takes a mother and father role model who embed the proper worldview in little children who embed the common sense just by living day to day in the home. That is why little children should never be put into institutions devoid of mother and father since they will be warped, unable to embed (see) the natural male/female paradigm.
