Revenge of the Deep State
Reason ^ | February 23, 2017 | Andrew Napolitano

Posted on 02/23/2017 7:07:53 AM PST by detective

Last week, The Wall Street Journal revealed that members of the intelligence community — part of the deep state, the unseen government within the government that does not change with elections — now have acquired so much data on everyone in America that they can selectively reveal it to reward their friends and harm their foes. Their principal foe today is the president of the United States.

The Deep State are vile globalist traitors who must be ruthlessly and viciously destroyed by the current government. Wipe them out to the lat individual.

Every clown in the District of Corruption who is calling for the “impreachment” of PRESIDENT Trump needs to be impeached.

There are CIA annexes throughout the U.S. Outside of major cities, in suburbia, exurbia. They even use the guise of other federal agencies or private contract companies. They spy on Americans within U.S. borders, work closely with FBI counterintelligence, but they do so under the complete blanket protection that they only monitor foreign operative/spies. Who watches the watchers? Their budget is enormous and there is good non-national security reasons it is classified. First and foremost, Americans would be outraged by the ridiculous amount and by extension would find out that they are living ridiculously charmed lives. You crush the anti-American Deep State by shutting off the money supply. Then flush them out and retire and monitor them for subversive activity, which they will certainly resort to.

Furthermore, IMHO, you can only trust the U.S. military to do the foreign intelligence work. And there should be no cozy (incestuous) relationship between the foreign intelligence gatherers and FBI domestic counterintelligence. They can liaise but not work directly together like CIA and FBI do now.

I don't believe the Deep state has any particular allegiance to globalism. Rather, for 50+ years globalism has merely served as an effective a means to an end, the end being control, power & wealth.

While political partisans tend to project their particular faiths & beliefs, leadership at higher echelons are essentially agnostic. Which side they choose is really just a matter of convenience, not one based on any foundation of principles. History is the record of constant trends and cycles, typically driven by revolution and declining through corruption. With nationalism/patriotism ascendant, it now provides a fresh alternative route towards the same ends of control, power & wealth.

Capital flows practically seamlessly to economic segments & regions which hold promise of higher returns. Right now we're in a bit of a transitional period while capital plays wait & see to which side will prevail. Once capital makes its decision that nationalism will prevail, then I would expect to see large scale capital flows flee traditional global initiatives and flood into patriotic spending projects.

However, it's the inflexible professional classes wed to a particular regime that suffer the greatest financial losses. Trained engineers and builders (ie producers) were heavily effected by globalism and the financialized economy. Now it is professors, consultants and other recipients of social funding and gov't grants who are threatened as we return to nationalism and pragmatic ROI analysis.

It may seem like globalists are traitors, but they're really just operators. You'll know their game is up when everyone becomes a patriot: the media, finance, entertainment, etc. It's like a gold rush - get in on the ground floor. Nationalism presents a brand new opportunity ripe with potential, and will take another 50 years before it too becomes the entrenched status quo riven with corruption. And thus the wheel will turn again ...

A very good article about "the Deep State" by Andrew Napolitano.
I had thought that the See-eye-a was the implementation arm of the State Department, exercising corruption, intimidation, and lawlessness ..
with the State Department having its own agenda and its own "Deep State" of power and control.
They both have operated without review in the past, except by lackeys and corruptocrats.
The key question remains, "Who is watching the watchers" ?

I work in transportation and talk to a lot of truckers. Many believe that there is a huge federal presence - probably DHS, in the transportation and warehousing industries. If one pays attention they say, you notice a lot of GM SUV's at warehouses, distribution centers and truck stops. Some "truck drivers" aren't actually truck drivers and stick out like a sore thumb. I've had people tell me that FedEx really is FEDERAL Express.

I started paying greater attention to some of these things, and eventually became pretty creeped out.

The CIA has always been known as the furthest left of the intelligence agencies, even when it was the OSS.
