Has the NBA and NFL warned Trump that the US might not get any future allstar games?
Will be interesting to see what Texas does with its bill this legislative session. Lt. Gov. Patrick’s bill is a watered down version which would allow sports venues to choose what they want to do. Of course, Houston’s new mayor is trying to convince everyone that if the bill passes we will NEVER have another national sports event in Texas and will lose a gazillion dollars.
Still waiting for him to publish the balance sheet on the last Super Bowl. Understand they are asking the Legislature for lots of money to bail out the Police and Firemen’s Retirement funds. In the meantime, Houston’s top cop is not going to help ICE with any detention of the millions of illegals now living in the Houston area.
Democrat controlled Dallas and Houston are on the verge of going down the tubes and they are concerned about bathrooms and national sporting events.
Time to revisit the antitrust exemption for the NBA and NFL.
NBA all-star game to do list:
1) find transgender bathrooms
2) find four-figure scoreboard
I can already anticipate Trump’s counter punch to their threats.
