That looks like a happy smile to me.
I think his face looks bemused and not pained.
He’s getting what he wants. He always said he’s not going to let anyone die in the streets.
Speaking of which, I just got my Medicare card in the mail since I’m about to hit the mandatory age to make a decision. I’m already covered by my military retirement (TriCare), but I still am required by TriCare to accept Medicare. (They must fuse the 2 programs together somehow.)
My point is that it appears EVERYONE from 65 and above is already covered by a health program.
There are so many health programs already being paid for in this nation by this nation, that I’m surprised there is anyone who isn’t covered in some way, shape, or form by some kind of program.
Did you know we have 9800 federal government health clinics scattered around the country, that there are even more state level health clinics, and that the price is a walk-in?
Is anyone even talking about making a list of these programs and looking at what the various levels of government already are paying for and rolling them into one big comprehensive look at what’s already being paid for if people would just be told? After all, we’re already being taxed for them.
Why duplicate the program OR the money?
