So the challenge goes on but the FEDS are dropping their challenge. This should
register as a favorable position to the Voter ID law.

“dats gonna whizz off some folks”

Those aren’t the ones that voted for Trump, or ever would. In fact, if they voted at all, they did so for Hillary (and some did it multiple times). IOW, those are the very people that the Voter ID bill was aimed at - so them being pissed off is a sign that Trump’s doing the right thing.

If you’re getting flak, you’re over the target. BOMBS AWAY!!!

We should play the “Guess what the media will report!?” game :)

I’ll start:

Racist Trump administration blocking minority vote!

WHat about us in NC?

****************

This has got to get to the SCOTUS to get a uniform system
across the country regarding IDs.

Actually, I would prefer if the Trump Justice Department took a page from the Democrat playbook.

Instead of the Justice Department dismissing this case, Texas should file a motion for summary judgment and the Justice Department should consent to judgment in favor of Texas.

Now Texas and other states need to require ALL registered voters appear IN PERSON with their PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP in order to have their names remain on the roll.

I remember a radio headline during Bush that said the Dow ‘had crashed upward through the 14,000 mark’.

“Maybe not. They’d have to acknowledge all of the highs.”

Or just lie them away, as they’ve always done.

We are winning every day, while the Dems and Never Trumpsters are whining every day.

See my tagline to express our joy versus their whining.

Yep, there are so many Republicans who continue to argue that Hillary would’ve been better as president.

Like 1000 Lawyers at the bottom of the Sea, it’s a start.

Actually, as much as we hate lawyers, I have come to the conclusion that they are only doing what they can get away with. The problem is judges, especially those who won't take charge of a case and move it to a decision, promptly, under the laws.

I am hearing that TEXAS SENATORS are crafting a totally hippie voting bill in the senate. Call Them and raise hell!
Read these notes first:
SB 5

Senate Bill 0005 Review
With SB 14, the voter would arrive and present Photo ID. If the ID was unacceptable, the voter voted provisionally and the Early Voting Ballot Board reviewed the situation. With SB 0005, the safeguards with the additional layer of review are now gone. Additionally, because of the lack of detailed information on the RID, it is very difficult to attach a voter to a vote.
The law that existed before SB14 is more strict than SB 0005.
Reasonable Impediment Declaration (as described in SB 0005)
• Allows for significantly more opportunity for fraud than law prior to SB14. There is no check on voters who do not provide ID when registering to vote.
• If a voter gives false information, their vote is still counted.
• An additional form that the voter and judge need to fill out
• Voters who did not provide Id (TDL or last 4 digits of ssn) at the time of registration can now use the very document of registration as identification. Previously, this voter would have been identified as an ID voter and required to present photo id when voting.
• Judges allowed voters to vote using a RID without providing any form of identification
• Judges allowed voters who were not in the pollbook to vote using the RID
• Voters are confused because they believe that they are not required to provide photo ID
• The RID does not require any identifying information other than a signature which makes it very difficult for voting history. Example James Johnson signs a RID. Which James Johnson? There is no requirement for a date of birth, address, ssn or TDL or certification number.
• Handwritten documents are inherently very difficult read some handwriting.
• If it is determined that the signing voter falsified the document, there is no way to go find this voter, no address, date of birth, etc.
• The reconciliation processing time using the RIDs is increased exponentially. It is necessary to make sure that the number of votes and identified voters match. And some precincts will never match with the new RID process.
• Cannot prove that someone did not lose their identification
• Almost everyone should have a social security number
• If the vote is illegal, the vote still counts
• The judge is forbidden to question the voter on their reason for not providing their photo ID. It was observed that voters had photo ID on their person and refused to present it and the judge could not question.
• Voter ID is based on the honor system with SB 0005.

Indiana Law

• Photo ID required
• Must have photo
• Name of individual
• Expiration Date
• Not expired or
• Expired after the last General Election
• Exception for military, merchant marines and Indiana National Guard may be indefinite
• Issued by the State of Indiana or the U.S. Government
• Exemptions
• Indigent
• Religious objection to being photographed
• Living in a state-licensed facility that services as their precinct’s polling location
• This law is tighter than the law prior to SB14.
• If voter gives false information, the EVBB can determine whether or not to count the vote
• No additional forms
• Voters who have not provided sufficient ID to register will either provide photo ID or an affidavit of indigence. Sufficient information will be gathered so that the state can attempt to provide a photo ID.
• Election Judges will not have the discriminatory authority to allow voters without ID to vote regularly without consequences
• Election Judges will not have the discriminatory authority to allow voters who are not in the poll book to vote regularly without consequences
• It will be clear to the voter that photo id is necessary and there are means to getting one if the voter has difficulty.
• There will be no unidentifiable document that confuses the reconciliation process like the RID.
• If a voter signs an affidavit, there will be enough information gathered to assist the voter in procuring a free form of photo ID.
• Voters will be responsible for providing acceptable forms of ID. If they possess one, it should not be a burden to remember to bring it to the polls.
• If the voter votes illegally, the EVBB will figure it out and not count the ballot.
Recommendations
• Photo ID required
• Must have photo
• Name of individual
• Expiration Date
• Not expired or
• Expired after the last General Election
• Exception for military, merchant marines and Indiana National Guard may be indefinite
• Voters over the age of 70 can use expired ID
• Issued by the State of Texas or the U.S. Government or Tribal Unit recognized by the U.S.
• Exemptions
• Affidavits – signed after voting with the VR
• Indigent
• Religious objection to being photographed
• Natural disaster
• Living in a state-licensed facility that services as their precinct’s polling location
• Students attending higher education may produce another current state drivers license and a current school identification

“The problem is judges, especially those who won’t take charge of a case and move it to a decision, promptly, under the laws.”

Or call it frivolous litigation, when it is.

Yee Haw.

“dats gonna whizz off some folks”

Yes - the left will make the charge “racism! disenfranchisement!!”

However, we MUST make the left answer the question: Why do you think POC are too stupid to obtain an ID?

Because, in essence, THAT is what their opposition boils down too...
