As the Democrat Party continues to demand AG Sessions' resignation for incessantly irritating them by occupying the position Hillary had planned for Lorretta Lynch, they are now threatening to prosecute the former Senator for doing his job...when still a Senator. When Stuart Smalley – aka Sen. Al Franken – grilled (with reference to his participation in the Trump campaign) US AG Nominee Jeff Sessions if he had had any conversations with Russian officials, Sessions truthfully said he had not. Now, however, there is a continuing-to-grow brouhaha against Sessions for lying to a Senate committee. Amongst the growing cacophonous chorus of Democrats is Madame Defarge – aka Nancy Pelosi – demanding AG Sessions resign as Attorney General! And...what was AG Sessions unforgiveable sin? He met with and spoke to the Russian Ambassador while he was a Senator. As a US Senator, meeting with foreign Ambassadors was and still is part of the job. However, now the scared-of-the-mean-Democrats-as-well-as-their-own-shadows Republican "leaders" are calling for a Special Prosecutor to investigate. Investigate what? Are we now telling our (Republicans only) members of both Houses of Congress that they cannot do the job for which they were elected, lest they one day run for office and might have the fulfilling of their job responsibilities brought up by the Democrats as a liability?

They can’t be successful if the GOP and “conservative” press piles on every little obvious fake news scandal that the liberal media plays up. If the GOP actually wants to push a remotely conservative agenda through Congress — and that’s a big if — they need to recognize these “scandals” for what they are, ignore them, go after the Obama plants in the Administration and expose and prosecute them. Then they need to all get together and push an agenda through Congress.
That cabal includes McInsane and Pansy Graham ...

It *can* but it is not going to happen without some very serious strategizing and some very sharp counter-moves and pre-emptive moves.
For one example, IMO SWAT teams should be moving into various floors in the State Dep’t, arresting a few dozen people at a time and marching them out in handcuffs. Repeatedly. And when the media catches wind, there needs to be a steadfast refusal to discuss the particulars due to national security and espionage concerns. The admin needs to get medieval on these folks, this leaking is not a game, it is intolerable, it is a violation of plenty of parts of the espionage act and they are not Hillary Clinton.
They MUST be successful. That means that WE have to be able to support them no matter what. When some Prog gets in your face complaining about Russia or grabbing vaj, just look them in the eye and say, “I do not care. As long as he is taking you pathetic pieces of crap down every day, he can do whatever he wants.” Then, let them call you a fascist, racist, homophobe, whatever and LAUGH in their stinking monkey face!

He has the ability to go hardball with nails should he choose. Following the law, mind you, he can open investigations on hillary, podesta, soros, Schumer, Pelosi, Lois Lerner, Koskanin (sp?), bring the guys who know everything that went down in Benghazi (who’ve never been asked to testify before Congress).
In short, if he chooses, he can open up a can of whupass on those bastards, because he holds all the cards; they hold none. Lead the way, and Congress will need to follow. He had said he would tread lightly on these matters, you know, in the interest of good sportsmanship. However, when the other side is all treachery, all the time, sportsmanship is wasted, unnoticecd.
Those sonsabitches need to be put on defense. Screw sportsmanship. It’s over. Let the SHTF until they can’t stand it any more. There’s plenty of legitimate investigation to go around. Nonstop.

Exactly right! I am so disappointed with the GOP I could spit. They have had power at least since 2014 and they have done NOTHING with it. McConnell should be ashamed of himself. All that power and he has done NOTHING of any significance since he took over. He should tarred, feathered, and sent home. Absolutely disgusting.
