Not only is the Mexican government not building a wall; it's spending $50 million to beef up its legal aid to migrants who fear deportation, a response to President Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration.
All 50 Mexican consulates in the U.S. on Friday launched legal assistance centers to form partnerships with nonprofit groups and tap lawyers to help those fearing Trump's policies.

Miami's Mexican consul general, Jose Antonio Zabalgoitia, said Friday that these centers would become "authentic advocates of the rights of Mexican migrants."
"What changes today is that we are prioritizing legal matters over everything. Previously, we didn't have the need to seek so much legal support for our people," he said. "But now, we need to protect them against an eventual deportation."

In times past, that would be considered an open act of WAR among civilized nations.
Released Saturday night, so that it gets missed/ignored in the Weekend news cycle.
The only right that illegal aliens have is the right to be removed from our country.
Mexico should save the money for repatriation of their citizens.
Close our embassies in Mexico and ordered those belonging to Mexico in the USA closed and their personnel evicted.
America is at war with the corrupted Mexican government.
They should save their money. They’re gonna need it.................

So the cheap estimates are that we have at least 11 million illegals in our country, about 95% Mexican.
So that works out to about $5 / illegal.
Good luck with that. Not gonna help much of anyone.
Trump should close their locations and expell their diplomats.
Does anyone else find it odd that a nation would spend that much money to keep its citizens from coming back?
So if Illegals here....were supposedly a NET BENEFIT to the USA....then why wouldn’t Mexico want their NET BENEFITS BACK?
We should withhold any assistance money at least until Mexico publishes a retraction.

What does it say about a country where they encourage their citizens to leave? They know their country must really suck.

At first glance I thought Mexico was extending a hand to offset the costs of repatriation.
How is this not an act of aggression towards the United States?

This money would be much better spent on teaching Spanish to returning “undocumented immigrants”, that only know English.
Why didn’t they just gives these people the money before they left because they were supposedly too poor?
