BTW Mukasey is off the opinion that Trump was indeed wiretapped.
Such a conclusion ought to be self-evident, but today no one can any longer rely on common sense for the answer. It is ludicrous to think that the President does not have the right to access anything he wants in his executive branch?
Andrew McCarthy over at NRO has written the same thing, and called out the NYT for implying it would be interfering with an investigation.
Has it occurred to anyone that the 0bomb regime may have wiretapped/surveilled the Trump campaign and appointees without an FSA application and obtaining a warrant? And if it was not legal to wiretap/surveil an American, why would they apply for one?
