A new kind of segregated dorm will soon appear at Haverford College.
Queer designated housing will arrive in time for the Fall semester at the Lancaster, Pennsylvania academic institution according to Campus Reform.
Qui Alexander, the director of the Haverford Womens Center at the Lancaster, Pennsylvania academic institution, was interviewed by the colleges newspaper, The Haverford Clerk. She described QHouse as a refuge (home) for all LGBTQ students by its commitment to support, safety, intersectionality, joy, and interdependence, suggesting that many LGBTQ people struggle with the concept of being their whole selves at home.

Why does the article say that Haverford College is in Lancaster?
I thought it was near Villanova, a few miles east of the Blue Route.

I went there. I even used to give them money.
Can you imagine the outrage if the normal students had requested separate quarters for the homosexual/confused students?

It's in Haverford, not Lancaster. Parts of it are on Lancaster ave (rt 30). It's in the western suburbs of Philly... not far from Bryn Mawr College.
When I was working in NY State’s prison system, there was a rumor that they were going to use an empty floor to hold all the homos in the facility. We officers decided we’d call it the Queer Tier. Thankfully the plan never came to fruition.
