WaPo’s Ignatius: 300 Possible Terrorists Travel Ban Would Have Stopped is a ‘Tiny Number’
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

For David Ignatius, what is an acceptable number of terrorists and terrorist attacks in the United States? The question arises because on today’s Morning Joe, Ignatius, of the Washington Post, was discussing the Trump admin statement that since 9/11, 300 people admitted from countries on the reissued executive order have been subject to “criminal, counter-terrorism investigations.”

Sniffed Ignatius: that’s a “tiny number.” Really? If those 300 had not been caught up in counter-terrorism investigations, how many would have carried out terrorist attacks? If only 1-in-20 had, that would be 15 terrorist attacks. Fifteen San Bernadinos, Pulses. Even one. Tiny?

300 possible terrorists that Trump travel ban would have stopped is a “tiny” number, according to WaPo’s Ignatius.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

These @ssholes (including John FTA Kerry) claim that we are JUST GONNA HAVE TO LEARN TO ACCEPT A LIL’ NUISANCE TERRORISM NOW AN’ THEN.

These same Reds want to grab ALL guns because of how a minuscule amount have been used and want ZERO prosecution of their brownshirt/blackshirt shock troops rioting in the streets every week for 50 years.

Of course it is - unless one of those three hundred terrorists commits a terrorist act that kills or injures someone Ignatius actually knows and cares about, instead of the nameless, faceless crowd of Americans who are supposed to quietly put up with whatever the aristocrats of the Beltway decide for us.

The UK says they have 500 active investigations into terrorist plots right now and have stopped at least 13 big attacks.

We know that under GW Bush there were thwarted attacks on LAX, the Brooklyn Bridge, and other targets.

NObama surrendered the War on Terror because it went against his muslim roots. He has a hard on for Islamic theocratic imperialism even if he himself is an atheist.

One terrorist with a gun and a bomb in the WaPo press room might change his mind on the magnitude of the problem.

The San Bernadino was just another workplace relating injury because someone got butthurt that Christians celebrate Christmas.

And the Orlando rampage was all due to Christian opposition to same sex marriage, Mr. Obama himself said so.

The WashPoo will never commit the sins of heresy that Charlie Hebdo was guilty of.

Remember when Mr. Obama refused to stand with the nations of Europe in denouncing the Charlie Hebdo attack and instead blamed it on the cartoonists?

It took 20 terrorists to murder a little under 3,000 people.

Well, given the 19 men killed several thousand people, stopping at least one might save 20 or 30 lives?

But those people don’t count...

So what’s the average number of people terrorist kill, even considering outliers like 9/11 atypical?

3? So 900 lives is a “tiny number” not worth the bother?

5? Surely still not worth being all mean to the poor widdle Muslims ... I mean it’s just 1,500 innocent folks.

8? Meh ... why are we so cruel to immigrants?

Here’s a thought: let us let all the refugees live near this guy and his family!

300 Possible Terrorists Travel Ban Would Have Stopped is a ‘Tiny Number’

You're reading the wrong inference into that quote.

What he's unintentionally saying is that the number of worldwide terrorists is huge, if 300 detained is a "tiny number."

He's really admitting that global radical Islamist terrorism is a much bigger problem than anyone has admitted, if 300 is a "tiny number."

There are two holes in NYC where a tiny number did a big number on Manhattan.

Juxtapose that with the liberal argument that 1 in 10,000 wrongly executed via capital punishment is 1 too many.
