After an intense public debate, the city council voted to take the statues down and place them in a new area.

You notice with all these stories, the statues are just getting moved a few miles down the road, and the Democrats that make up these city councils are making the local taxpayers foot the bill for the exorbitant price tags ($400,000 for the one in Louisville, KY) of moving the statues? What difference does it make if this statue sits in this one spot in New Orleans vs. this other spot in New Orleans?

They can get rid of General Lee but they can’t get rid of Lee Circle.
