Not only will taxpayers save billions of dollars; the likelihood of some idiot universities closing may be greater.
My wife works at a college, and I thought I understood something about student loans. One day I asked if the loans covered books AND tuition. She said that plus room and board, and whatever else the student “needs”.
Essentially it is full financial support for the lifestyle they want to live. Couple that with their belief they don’t have to pay it back, and...where do I sign up?
