Hi, GOP: You Are Terrible and Obamacare Jr. Stinks

When Paul Ryan and his congressional clown car of alleged conservatives surprised us by just sort of dropping Obamacare Jr. on us, I wasn’t surprised to see them trip all over their Guccis during the utterly inept roll out. These nimrods couldn’t effectively communicate to Elizabeth Warren with smoke signals. But even I was shocked at how transcendently crappy their proposed Obamacare replacement is. Let me put it this way: the only thing that steaming pile of failure would be good for is as the key prop in a very specialized, niche German porno film.

Seriously, how many times do we have to tell you? Obamacare must die. Kill it dead – with fire!

When are you going to get it through your wonk spheres that we don’t want a government-led health care system that leaves the people who infest D.C. in charge? We don’t need a “plan” because 85 percent of us already have a plan – it’s called “Taking responsibility for supporting ourselves and our families like damn adults.”

I am reading only so much is possible with reconciliation and due to part of this being passed with 60 votes there needs to be a Part-II 60 vote repeal and then part-III final phase out vote.

Minus the crying, WHAT IS THE TRUTH HERE?

If Obamacare lite is good them make congressmen have it. The only people in this country that deserve free healthcare are our military. Everyone else pays.

One of the biggest problems with Obamacare is that young people refuse to enroll. Well why the eff should they if pre-existing conditions are covered? Get rid of that. Get rid of the whole damn thing. By the way, the emergency rooms are still full! Stop the illegals from using the system. Stop using the ER for anything but an actual emergency!

Kurt rightly separates healthcare from health insurance but he aimed his fire at the wrong place. Is he afraid to aim it at Trump? When Trump said he wish to keep the clause that you let buy insurance after you got sick he effectively killed the concept of insurance as commonly understood.

So now we are down to haggling over health care which Trump is negotiating. If you want a free market in insurance you will not get it with Trump.

Well put. I think we are going to see many items like this from Trump. My questions is does he truly not understand the concept of insurance or is he getting what he can politically?

I am good with the political expediency of this bill so long as Trump continues to administratively gut the rest of Obamacare.

Dims have mastered the art of incrementalism, they take what they can get and then go back for more while Conservatives and Pubbies always wish to die on big pronouncements and actions.

True, but only in part. The feds have the constitutional authority to establish a national insurance market via the authority to regulate inter-state commerce.

Only to the extent that commerce is allowed to flow freely among the states.

And as of right now, there is no national commerce, free flowing or otherwise, between the states.

BS.. they could repeal today if they weren’t such pansies. Repeal today through reconciliation and let it gel for a few months.
