One of the teens charged in an alleged sex assault in Westbrook last month is from Lisbon Falls, according to a report from the Portland Press Herald.
The newspaper identified 15-year-old Rick Powers as one of three teens charged with gross sexual assault in the Feb. 5 incident at the Super 8 Motel.
Also charged were Ernest Lorange, 16, of Portland, and Garang Majok, 19, of Lewiston.
He looks like he could be mid-30s to me.

I wonder if the prosecutor will determine if the 19 yo is really 19. Have a dentist take a look at the guy. And if the refugee was brought here by some non-profit, the 16 yo victim’s family ought to sue that non-profit into penury.

The guy pictured is not the 15 year from Lisbon Falls. He is the 19 year old from “Lewiston”. The 15 and 16 year olds are white boys. Unknown how they ended up in the Westbrook motel together. But the 16 year old would have probably been the victim if the girl was not available. I suspect there is a lot more to this matter.

That’s not why journalists insert the word into every sentence, whether it makes sense or not.
It started as a CYA measure, so the accused couldn’t sue the paper for libel.
Now it’s used when no suspect is in the sentence. There can be ten bullet-riddled bodies, and the reporters will talk about how they were “allegedly killed.”
And suspects are constantly said to be “accused of allegedly” committing murder, burglary, etc.
