Taft was a great President. Wilson, enabled by TR, permanently wrecked the USA. Globalism and runaway federal power, the Fed, the income tax, league of nations. TR was abandoned because his socialist tendencies were awful. Those who love TR once his inner Berne was unleashed, lose me. And that’s the way it was, 100 years ago today.
