I've tried counseling but after the first session the counselors abruptly move out of state. I don't know what that means.
I refined my beer taste buds from 3 separate tours in Germany back in the 70's-early 80's.
A Foster's ale or out here, a Red Hook IPA works fine to soothe the gentle beast.
Spaten Optimator
I didn't think the Germans did a lot of ale. I always thought they were more into lagers.

Have to agree, they are sehr gut. I did a short stint with the Brits and Langeleben (near Wolfenbuttel/Braunschwieg) where the favorite local was a brew called Schultheiss. They had another name for it...
