True story: A friend of mine has a wife who had suffered a major stroke and could not return to her job as a registered nurse. So they went to Social Security and filed a claim for disability. This claim ended up in a courtroom for disability approval and she was denied disability yet she still cannot to this day function in a work environment. That said,there are people in the state they reside who are drug addicts and do receive disability from the same court, and the same decisions that my friend’s wife was denied. That family has struggled for years trying to make ends meet. Perhaps now there is a chance that this woman can receive some sort of disability to help the family in the near future.
My father had Parkinson’s and tried to get disability on his own twice and was denied. Went a third time with an attorney and was granted disability. An attorney might be able to help your friends..??..
Ridiculous. Everyone should be dropped and forced to reapply. That would clean it up, and give you friend the benefits she needs.
A lot of folks get denied twice before getting an attorney and trying again.
I would wonder what color she is? Make no mistake, Africans are afforded preferences at all levels of government, an extension of affirmative action is another name for this racial favoritism.
Call your Congressman.....these govt payout agencies do not like to be forced to explain to a Congressman why their constituent was denied benefits.

That’s because the corruption runs deep. Their courts are packed with Democrats and they want you to hire the lawyer that works for part of that check every month (the ones that get a percentage of it monthly ) Those are the crooked lawyers that grease their palms and donate to the democrat machine. If you happen to have a Republican Congressmen call them and complain , if you live in a blue area they won’t care cause they know what’s up.
I believe diagnosed alcoholics are eligible for disability as are families with kids with ADHD and on Ritalin receive. I know of a family who faked symptoms of an active 4 year old, applied, convinced authorities and began receiving monetary benefits. There was nothing wrong with the child. I had occasion to visit them one day, early afternoon, and there was a half full quart bottle of bourbon in the middle of their kitchen breakfast table.
May have been the wrong color in the opinion of that district to get it.
My mom was discriminated y a heavily Hispanic SS office, even though she got a very real spinal injury at work.
Only took ten years to get rectified.
