Gallup includes cell phones in their surveys and there is debate as to the effectiveness of robo surveys.

I would be careful how you use the term tsunami. Trump lost the popular vote, so I wouldn't say a tsunami showed up. The rural vote showed up in the right places and gave Trump the electoral vote victory. Trump's victories in WI, MI and PA were narrow. And the polls were correct. Most showed Trump losing the popular vote and that is what happened.

Of the gazillion polls conducted after the conventions, all of them but two or three had Trump losing, badly. State polling was even worse. It's why all of the electoral college projections were laughingly off. None of them even came close.

Neither Trump nor Clinton won the popular vote, in the technical sense. She got 48%, which means 52% voted against her. Same for Trump. 4% went to third-party candidates, with the Libertarian party disproportionately pulling votes from candidate Donald Trump.

And while the Trump victory in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan or narrow, they represent wide swings from the way those states traditionally go.

.... I really find these numbers curious .... Especially when a few days ago it was reported that Trumps approval rating was up to 52% and another report from today is stating that Trumps approval rating is in a "Freefall."

.... So which one is it?

I know people who still think that Hillary is still somehow going to win this thing and assume the presidency. Yeah, I know they are wacked. But they really still hold out hope.

Gallup is garbage.. And it’s not because Rasmussen’s numbers are better it’s just the gallop is garbage. Rasmussen nailed the whole campaign in the presidential election.

NBC must’ve read this today - I made the MISTAKE of watching the NBC Nightly News and it was nothing but a 30-minute President Trump Bash-A-Thon!

Obviously, they’re scared of We The People, so let’s keep up the Good Work, Troops! :)

What? - Gallup has him at 37% - of course they said they gave up trying to forecast the presidential elections because they couldn’t get it right, so why should be care what they produce now?!.....

What are the other five smart people in America waiting for? Then we can have the highest good approval rating you can have in this country.

I guess his 100percent approval of the Ryancare bill gave him a lift with the Gimmeecrats. Insurance is NOT care. Believe me, I have insurance and I still can’t afford the surgery I need. The people who provide the care are getting scraps leftover while the insurance companies roll in cash. For every 1dollar of expenses, hospitals are getting 25 cents reimbursed. Where is the other 75 cents.. this is very serious and we will have nationalized care either by force of govt or attrition of small hospitals. I suspect in ten years there will be regional systems only.
